The Air Jordan 3 has already been spotted draped in blue hues this year via the “Powder Blue” version from the spring. The Jordan 3 “Sport Blue” manages to look a lot more OG with its approach though.
For one, the darker blue lines up better with the “True Blue” shade that we’re the most used to on the Air Jordan III. On top of that, the overall arrangement of the colors ends up very close to that on a couple of the original pairs of Threes. Jordan Spiz’ike To Re-release This Summer | ᶠᶸᶜᵏᵧₒᵤ #Socialflyte
The year in Jordan hybrids just got deeper – it appears that the Jordan Spiz’ike is set to make a return in its first-ever colorway from 2006, shown here. So far the only concrete release date attached is an August 9th one for Europe, but that date would certainly make sense for the states as well given that the similar Jordan 6 “History of Jordan” will be debuting on that same day. Will we see folks revisiting the well on this OG Spizike pair with a certain air of nostalgia, or are hybrids still too stuck in the shadow of retros to drum up any excitement?
Let us know in the comments down below. Note: photos are of the 2006 release.
